Handmade lamp work glass and surgical steel stud earrings.
The glass I make the tiny leaves from is called green aventurine and has a delicate sparkle throughout the whole leaf. I have put a tiny ladybird on each leaf
Perfect little gift for all ages.
I make each earring, one at a time, in the flame, melting the glass directly onto the surgical steel ear post. The surgical steel posts I use are bought from a bullion dealer in London’s Hatton Garden and are guaranteed nickel free, hypoallergenic and safe to wear.
Allergy Info: Do you have sensitive skin? Our products are tried and tested. Surgical steel is known to be the most hypoallergenic metal on the market, hypoallergenic meaning 'unlikely to cause reaction'. Although nothing can be promised as 100% allergy free, as certain people can be allergic to anything, surgical steel is used by medical professionals for knives and implants due to the low chance of a reaction. For more information about hypoallergenic earrings, check out our blog on nickel allergies.
All my beads are placed straight from the flame into my digitally controlled kiln for overnight annealing, cleaned and checked for flaws before being dispatched.
